Connecting your Android device to your PC will enable a number of features like USB tethering which makes your PC access the internet through your phone’s internet, Copy files between your Android and PC etc.
To connect your Android device to your PC, you will need the USB cable and the cable driver. A driver is the software that comes with your device which enables your computer to install the device. If your device comes with a CD, insert the CD and install the software within, Then connect your phone to your PC.
If however your device did not come with a CD in the pack, a second way to install your android phone on your PC is to try downloading the driver from the internet. Connect your computer to the internet, and then plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable that comes with the pack. The PC will recognize the device and attempt to install. Chose to search for the driver over the internet. If Windows locate the driver, it will download and install the driver.
The third method of installing the USB driver if the first two method fail is to visit the website of your Android device vendor and download the USB driver from the download section of the site.
